It all begins with a purpose.

“I turn dreamers into doers—unlocking speed for anyone with the will to chase it.”

Parents play a huge role in their children’s development by ensuring they have the right club, coach, and team environment. Plus, showing their support. ❤️

As a coach, developing an athlete is more important than getting medals.  Developing them and understanding the sport and its long-term progression is essential. The athletes I coach will understand the workout’s purpose, and we will incorporate strength development (no heavy weights), mechanics, mental health, communication, and so on. I am teaching them to perform and not compete (my athletes understand this meaning).

I’ve learnt over racing/training young athletes will get them fast BUT may cause multiple injuries and short term development. Developing an athlete first will still get the same results once it is time for them to compete at a high level and with fewer injuries/burnouts.

My role is to create a healthy environment for them. It’s a safe place to escape all the noise from social media, school, friends, etc., but most importantly, it's a place to be good humans.

I’m still learning, and I will change my program each year as these athlete will have different needs. I am grateful for the athletes I’ve coached as they have challenged me to be better.

Track does not define who you are; it is a sport you love for yourself.
